DYER, Ind. – There is a new best-in-class option for northwest Indiana residents looking for resident-centered health care. Mainstreet® and Symphony Post Acute Network® are celebrating Symphony of Dyer, their newest Next Generation® property together.

Located at 1532 Calumet Ave., Symphony of Dyer provides transitional care (short-stay rehabilitation and therapy) and senior living in a service-rich environment. The property hosted a grand opening celebration this evening.

Construction started on Symphony of Dyer in June 2014 and the property opened mid-July. Mainstreet developed Symphony of Dyer and Symphony operates it.

“We are incredibly proud to officially unveil Symphony of Dyer to the Dyer community. We look forward to providing an unmatched level of post-acute care and senior living accommodations in our state-of-the-art medical resort,” said Tim Fields, president of operations for the Symphony Post Acute Network.

With 130 beds and 85,108 square feet, Symphony of Dyer boasts hospitality-oriented care with amenities such as a therapy gym, an outdoor rehabilitation courtyard, a game room, a spa, a movie theatre, an on-site chef and more. The project represents a total community investment of $20.8 million and created 381 construction jobs and 100 permanent jobs.

“Our Next Generation properties are designed to get people well and get them back to work,” said Zeke Turner, founder and CEO of Mainstreet. “Symphony of Dyer illustrates not only our dedication to transforming the way health care is delivered to aging Americans but also the coming wave of health care.”
