CROWN POINT, Ind. – Hoosiers in need of rehabilitation and therapy now have a new state-of-the-art option in northwest Indiana. Mainstreet and Symphony Post Acute Network are celebrating their latest development and their first grand opening together, Symphony of Crown Point.

Located at 1555 S. Main St., Symphony of Crown Point provides post-acute care (short-stay rehabilitation and therapy) and senior living in a service-rich environment. The property hosted a grand opening celebration this evening.

Construction started on Symphony of Crown Point in May 2014 and the property opened last week on June 8. Mainstreet developed Symphony of Crown Point and Symphony operates it.

“We are incredibly proud to officially unveil Symphony of Crown Point to the Crown Point community. We look forward to providing an unmatched level of post-acute care and senior living accommodations in our state-of-the-art medical resort,” said Mike Munter, chief operating officer of Symphony Post Acute Network.

With 100 beds and 66,598 square feet, the Symphony of Crown Point boasts hospitality-oriented care with amenities such as a therapy gym, an outdoor rehabilitation courtyard, a game room, a spa, a movie theatre, an on-site chef and more. The project, which represents a total community investment of $16 million, created 360 construction jobs and 100 permanent jobs at the property itself.

“Our Next Generation® properties are designed to give aging Americans want they want – less hospital and more hospitality,” said Zeke Turner, founder and CEO of Mainstreet. “We are transforming the way health care is delivered nationwide and Symphony of Crown Point illustrates the coming wave of health care.”
