CARMEL, Ind. – Hoosiers looking for resident-centered, state-of-the-art health care now have a new option in Carmel. Mainstreet and Trilogy Health Services are celebrating their latest development, Wellbrooke of Carmel. The transitional care center is the first of its kind in Carmel, where Mainstreet is also headquartered.
Located at 12315 Pennsylvania St., Wellbrooke of Carmel provides transitional care (short-stay rehabilitation and therapy) and assisted living in a service-rich environment. The property hosted a VIP ribbon cutting this evening.
Construction started on Wellbrooke of Carmel in April 2014 and the property is tentatively scheduled to open the end of April. Mainstreet developed Wellbrooke of Carmel and Trilogy operates it.
According to Randall Bufford, president and CEO of Trilogy, "Our commitment to a servant leadership culture and our dedication to providing exceptional customer service that exceeds our customers' expectations are the cornerstones of Trilogy's operating philosophy. When you combine great services with a team of dedicated and compassionate caregivers in the Mainstreet Next Generation® model, the result is an outstanding senior living experience."
With 94 beds and 68,590 square feet, Wellbrooke of Carmel boasts with amenities such as a large therapy gym, an outdoor rehabilitation courtyard, a movie theatre, a game room, a spa, an on-site chef and more. The property was designed to reflect Carmel’s nearby Arts & Design District and is unlike any other Mainstreet property featuring faux Juliet balconies and a porte-cochére. The project, which represents a total investment of $15 million in the community, created 374 construction jobs and 120 permanent jobs.
“It’s only fitting that Wellbrooke of Carmel would embody the coming wave of health care in the same community Mainstreet proudly calls home,” said Zeke Turner, founder and CEO of Mainstreet. “The innovative designs and hospitality-oriented care of our Next Generation properties give aging Americans what they want today – more services, amenities and attention. Wellbrooke of Carmel is our latest commitment toward transforming the health care industry.”
Wellbrooke of Carmel will host a community open house for visitors this Sunday, May 3, from 1 – 3 p.m.
