Mainstreeters are passionate about constantly asking why and challenging the status quo. High-achieving individuals thrive in our environment and want to become part of our team. Check out our company culture and benefits below.
Here at Mainstreet, our team has a certain spark. Bold. Passionate. Innovative. Energized. Grateful. We’re all in. We inspire each other to be better and to create better. The spark is the infectious energy that brings us together. It connects all Mainstreeters to our core concepts of love, hope, faith and excellence. The spark is the heart of our culture – it’s who we are.
Mainstreet is passionate about giving back to the community and supporting its employees' desires to enrich and transform the lives of those around them. To encourage and support this, the company has a Living Generously Committee that helps organize and support charitable giving activities throughout the year. The Living Generously Committee is chaired by Milissa Turner.
The 6th Annual Christ is My Big C Golf Outing was held at Sagamore Golf Course in Noblesville on September 12, 2016. The event raised over $23,000. This money will help provide community-based financial support and Christian love to those directly affected by cancer. Mainstreet has been a huge supporter of the foundation since 2011. Mainstreet sponsored a two day Habitat build on August 25 & 26, 2016. We had 24 volunteers from Mainstreet that lived out our mission of transforming lives. Mainstreet also spoke at the Habitat Home Blessing. It was truly a blessing to have the opportunity to help this incredible family.
Mainstreet teamed up with PlayBall Indiana, an organization that provides opportunities for low income and at risk youth to participate in baseball leagues. The fields they are able to play on are sometimes the ones most in need of care and maintenance, so as a Living Generously project, a group of Mainstreet volunteers spent last Friday morning cleaning up the diamonds at Garfield Park on the southside. Scott Higgs is a board member for PBI, and he brought this opportunity to our attention.
Holding an Easter “Eggstravaganza” for the children at the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville during their after-school program was another volunteer opportunity that fit the Mainstreet LG mission. The Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville provides children and teens ranging from kindergarten to grade 12 with the opportunity to enjoy activities and a number of unique experiences that can transform their character and outlook on life. Over 280 youth enjoyed an appearance from the Easter bunny and activities which included face painting, crafts, a bounce house and games while also collecting Easter eggs at varying stations. The children were also served dinner and went home with Easter goodies. Throughout the event, each child grinned from ear-to-ear and we could tell they truly enjoyed the fun and appreciated us providing them with this holiday event.
